Psalm 126:5 “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.”
Tears are an expression of emotions, mainly sorrow and pain. Life is a tapestry interwoven with the warps and woofs of different experiences. Not all are happy and comfortable. Sometimes we have to go through the valley of tears and storms, but there is always hope in our Lord who is the author of peace, joy and hope. Tears will not last for ever. Whatever we fear will not come to pass. When we go through tearful experiences, let us put our complete trust in the Lord who is our everything. He will wipe away all our tears.
Psalm 30:5..”weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
A mother, father or grandparents who shed tears for their children, night and day will definitely see deliverances in their lives. A church leader who cries out and intercedes for his people will surely see wonderful miracles in their lives. God has put all our tears in His bottle. No tear is ever ignored. He remembers our pleas and rewards us in His accurate time, not one minute late or early.
So let us cry out for people who are suffering in various ways, empathise with them and believe that they will rejoice one day.Samuel cried out to the Lord for the people, many great servants of God saw the fruit of their tears, maybe many years after their cries, but they persisted and rejoiced. So take heart.Your mourning will be turned to dancing one day!!!
The Lord has plans to restore what you have lost in life in the previous years. He will reward you double for all the affliction you have gone through.
Joel 2:25 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”
He is the Potter and you are the clay. In the process of creating a product, there might be situations when the clay pieces are marred or not usable. But the potter doesn’t throw the mass away or put it away temporarily. He takes it and gives it a new shape and form.
Jeremiah 18:4 “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.”
What is to the human eye a waste or gone case will be something precious in God’s eyes. Don’t sit and mope about what happened in the last years, thinking all is lost and never to be retrieved. He is waiting for you to yield to His will, relent from your stubborn ways, accept His sovereignty in your life and trust Him completely. He won’t let the enemy touch His anointed unless He has a particular plan as He did in Job’s case. But then can God certify that we are blameless and upright as Job was? At times, even when the Lord wants to help us have major changes in our life, we don’t let go of our past follies or are afraid to trust, thinking of history being repeated. Remember the LORD never goes back on His Word!! So friends, yield to His restoring power these days. You will see and reap bounteous results!!!
