Ezekiel 33: 4, 5
“..then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.”
The passage above can be compared to Jesus and His message to the world when He was here. In this day and age of the media and umpteen TV Channels, it is hard to say that you have never heard about Jesus or the Bible. But he who heeds the Word of God and believes in Him shall save his life.
You may have heard about Jesus. To you, He may be just another religious leader or a prophet who came into the world 2000+ years ago. But He is more than that. He is the Messiah – the One. If you have heard His voice and yet have not given your life to Him, be warned. The end days are coming near. He who has given his life to Jesus and leads a life in Him shall rest in eternity with Him.
Dear reader, if you are still to give your life to Jesus, let this passage be a reminder to you. He died for you and me to save us from eternal destruction and wrath of hell. It is never too late. Act now. Call upon Him now.
Psalm 145: 18
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
